I’m a Las Vegas native, devoted husband and father of four. I love all things outdoors including camping, fishing and the occasional golf game.
Professional Life
I first became involved with digital marketing when a life-long friend and I started an eCommerce business in the smartphone and tablet repair industry in 2012. Determined to grow our business, I dedicated my time to learning the fundamentals of each digital marketing channel with an emphasis on organic search and SEO.
After a year, we sold our company and began working for a leading mobile device repair company. During this time I was able to further develop my skills in the digital marketing sphere. I managed a small team of marketing specialists and executed strategies in SEO, Paid Media, Email Marketing, Social Media and Content Marketing for multiple brands.
I was closely involved in ecommerce operations for multiple websites including inventory management, quality control, technical support, IT and customer satisfaction. At the time, I was a self-proclaimed jack of all trades.
In 2014, I was presented with the opportunity to work for a leading Digital Marketing Agency based in San Diego, CA as a SEO Specialist. I started out in the small-to-medium business division supporting campaigns with targeted keyword research, on-page/off-page optimization, content marketing and Local SEO. During this time I gained invaluable experience in all areas of SEO, as well as account management.
Fast forward a couple years, I moved on to become a Senior SEO Account Manager at a local Las Vegas digital marketing agency. During my time there I managed multiple accounts as a lead SEO strategist and account manager with an emphasis on travel and hospitality, SaaS, legal services, ecommerce, medical, and local service area businesses. After a couple years I was promoted to Director of SEO managing a small team of junior -> senior SEO specialists, content writers and strategists, and link builders. Upon reaching my 5 year tenure during the pandemic I decided to make a change and explore other opportunities to further my personal growth and professional career.
What I’m up to these days
Today, I am a Las Vegas based SEO Consultant and Associate Director of SEO at Power Digital Marketing, one of the most respected digital marketing agencies, with a primary focus on Technical SEO. I have the privilege of working with some of the world’s most distinguished companies. I perform complex SEO audits to discover opportunities for technical and on-page optimization, assist in website migrations, and play a role in executing fully integrated digital strategies.
